A few thoughts for the year ahead:
Live is life as life is to live.
Life can be full of hardships but we must live on.
Hardships can only do you such good but it's a negative.
Negativity is not health for the subconscious mind.
Subconsciousness is the root to one's true self.
Creation is what brings the human mind at a newer level.

So it's January, my birthday is coming up soon...the stress of getting older, but feeling like I haven't done much with my life...the stress applies more to FINALLY meeting my bf's family. Usually I always thought of the opposite, that the guy would feel nervous meeting his girl's parents, but not in my case. My family LOVES my bf (DAMN he had such an easy time..I thought they would interrogate him like there was no tomorrow... now he's like family, my mom always worries about him, asking about him...heck even my dad, though he tries to hide it, loves him..especially when he pulled me away secretly cuz he bought my bf something for Christmas—much to my surprise—and asked for my opinion of his 'gift' to him...LOL!) I just hope that when I meet his family, they would welcome me with open arms just like how my family did to him. I know it will be awkward at first, that's a given for sure.. but I have this fear that I'm not good enough for him, gosh I would hate if they ask me if I can cook... (do microwaveable dishes count?) I can make congee!! LOL. GAH! I guess I never realized how awesome my parents are...They're quite pretty chill... LOL! Why can't life sometimes make it easy for me?? I already have plenty of regrets...of things I've let go when I should've fought for..loss times, unspoken words, the what ifs...
But we'll see how it goes...
yet another chapter to this book called life...
do I finish the book or walk away from it..
