falling in love should be like polaroids.. instant! (LOL)

So I finally got to watch 500 days of summer, Summer being the main girl in the story, I wasn't sure if I would call her a protagonist in the film, but this movie is full of ironies. All I know is that I definitely couldn't stand the girl's "coolness" about relationships, and how she was just going along with the flow, but other than that.. the movie is artistic visually, good score.. and I warn you, the movie is not a love story, it's a story about.. Love. Joseph-Gordon's character is cute though, he's those typical, love is like how you see it in the movies, beautiful, the romance..throughout the film we learn things, fall in love with the characters see things in a whole new kind of light. It's an enchanting, interesting film.

Up in the Air, I highly recommend this movie, for its witty humour and awesome performance by the cast. George Clooney's character was someone who was content from being disconnected from the world, him flying almost 365 days a year symbolizes the freedom he enjoys from not having to be grounded with commitments, as he makes public speeches about travelling with a backpack...
"How much does your life weigh? Imagine for a second you are carrying a backpack. I want you to pack it with all the stuff you have in your life and start with the little things the shelves, the drawers, the knick knacks... then start adding larger stuff, clothes, tabletop appliances, lamps, your TV...backpack should be getting pretty heavy now..And you go bigger, your couch, your car, your home. I want you to stuff it all into that backpack.
Now I want you to fill it with people. Start with casual acquaintances, friends of friends, folks around the office, and then you move to the people that you trust with your most intimate secrets, your brothers and sisters, your children, parents, and finally your husband, wife, your boyfriend, your girlfriend...and you get them into that backpack...feel the weight of that bag. Make no mistake your relationships are your heaviest components in your life. All those negotiations and arguments and secrets are compromising. The slower we move, the faster we die. Make no mistake, moving is living. Some animals were meant to carry each other to live, symbiotically over a lifetime, star-crossed lovers, monogamous swans—We are not swans, We are sharks."
What a truly brilliant film, we meet a cast of interesting characters along the way, this movie is a story about LIFE, and its many ironies. What a treat, it's been quite a lot since I've watched movies that I truly found that's worth my time.
